My SDHC Card Worked On HBC At First, But Now It Doesn't
Hello, I have searched all over this forum for someone with a similar problem but couldn't find anything, so I'm asking direct (for the first time). I am most definitely a noob, so please be gentle. I am going to do my best to include all of the info I can. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I just bought a Kingston 8gig Micro SDHC card and I loaded it up with apps from the Pack Generator. (I updated my Home Brew Channel to 1.0.1 before ever using the SDHC Card.) At first I didn't have my folders set up and only one app showed up (my fault). So I went back to my computer and fixed the application locations. Everything was recognized and I was overjoyed! However, when I tried WiiOperation I got a message saying that it wasn't an authorized HBC program or something. So then I went back to the main menu for HBC and tried the Portal Game, worked great. Then I believe I tried the Gravity game and before it could even start, the screen went black and my controller turned off. I had to hold the power button to shut off my Wii and restart. When I opened up the HBC channel again, the little "SD Loading..." thing pulled up and then all I saw was bubbles (as if no card was inserted)...
It has been that way ever since.
Listed below are some of the things that I have tried
- Hitting home button and reloading card
- Turning on my wireless internet and trying again while connected (scary!)
- Uninstalling HBC and reinstalling using the twilight hack
- Reformatting my HDSD Card and moving everything back on
- Reformatting my HDSD Card and moving just some apps back on (under 2 gig)
- Reformatting my HDSD Card and installing the apps via executable option (as opposed to a zip file)
- Checked to make sure my 2gig SD cards still work (They do)
Here is a list of my Setup:
- HBC v1.0.1 through Twilight Hack
- IOS36 v4.18 (I honestly have no idea what that means but I thought that it might come in handy)
- Wii Menu v3.3U
It have read that SDHC cards will either work or not, but not that they start off working on HBC and then just stop. I am in dire need of help! I trust that I am in good hands.
Thank you very much in advance.
