need help with a easy mod

yo i have a stock Wii and i am looking for someone to kinda walk me through getting everything i need on my system to play backups.... since that usb loader came out today im just gonna do it that way so i can play whatever games i want just have to have that plugged in any help would be much appreciated thanks a lot

First, read through my beginner's guide. Install the homebrew channel. Get Waninkoko's cIOS installer and uninstaller and put those on your SD card, as well as Waninkoko's USB patch and the cIOS required for the USB loader (be careful, there are many cIOS's floating around. Check the number!). Install the proper cIOS and the USB patch, get Waninkoko's USB loader, run it and you should be good to go.

lol you make it sound so easy im gonna try to get it together i can follow directions pretty well so we shall see how big of a SD do i need and i can use a flash drive to load ISO right?

The Wii scene has changed so much in the last week or 2. I guess now it is possible to load ISO's off a usb drive, although make sure it is blank since it has to be formatted in a special way If I understood the stuff correctly. First step is just getting the homebrew channel up and running.

cool brent i will hit you up here soon im gonna do it this weekend i think...so the USB drive has to be specially formatted can i just hook a mobile hd up to the wii and do it that way? and i have no clue what firmware i have but i have been reading seems everyone upgrading and downgrading so does it really matter what i got?
