OMG I love that game. I played it at my friends house friday like 4 hours strait till he kicked me out for eating all his food. The beginning is sorta tedious until you get past the first "city". Really small simple city that basically introduces you into the story line. But the graphics are amazing, and literally you can play at your own pace and the maps are extremely amazing. There are literally replica's of famous cities (darmascus, like Jerusalem and crazy old cities like that). I can't even explain how huge the citites are. Literally, when you walk up to the first entrance of the first city you travel to, my mouth dropped at how huge it is. All you saw was the city in the horizon and it when on a long ways. Trust me man, you should totally get that game. I absolutely love it.
I give it a 50/10
Best 2 games ever (that i have played on 360) are Halo 3 and Assassin's creed.

And yea it's free roaming, sorry I typed like another page on free roaming but it deleted it or something :( But yea, free roaming once you get past the first city pretty much, even then it's free roaming. You can even save like random citizens from mean guards that are picking on them and crap like that. Then when you get the citizen's on your side, they will even protect you from guards!
