I have 3.71 m33-2 and I have a 2gb memory stick. I am running out of memory and was going to buy a new one. Do I have to do the magic memory stick process again, or do I just pop it in and start saving files?

Make sure you format the blank Memory Stick in the PSP first so it puts the directories in there for you. Then it's just like your other Memory Stick. No MMS required.

Ah. So formatting doesn't just clear out all the files on your psp, it also adds all the stuff required for the firmware. Thanks for the help

No, Formatting just sets up an allocation type.

unless, you have a situation like me, where my battery is always in boot mode, but have timemachine on, then you need to have it on all the time. But i dont think this is the case for you, once you load CFW on there, it stays. so you can add games and such to the other and just run them.

Btw, please if you do play games and use homebrew and play with themes alot and stuff, go to the store and buy a 256 mb card for like 3 bucks, this will ensure that you always have a backup incase you brick
