ok say you have a psp version 1.50 and you want to go on the internet, some one told me you have to have a vresion 2.0 is that true???

2.0 is known for its built in web browser. But if you download the web browser in this website, you can use it on a 1.5 psp. So no, its not entirely true

theres also firmware launching which i have manged to get running on MY psp, i use the browser form 2.5

you can also used the fired up web browser get it at psp-hacks.com

I've tried that, when I do it, the file seem to be corrupted...but the thing is, I still have the Fired up for the 1.50 browser. But who needs brower really, just use your Computers/Laptops.

yea but what i did was in 1.5 i clicked restore to factory settings, leave the nick as it is, then make a connection to use for the 2.x web browser in 1.5 save it then use file assistant or similar to copy ur flash1 files to the firmware ur launching's directory then launch mphfl again and it should work. Like i said, i have a working browser in my ready-to-launch 2.5 if anyone wants it.
