Roms & Emulators

Is there a way to play playstaion 2 or playstation cds in your computer?
I have been having a hard time finding a emulator that will actually work.
The pc can read the disc and files, but I don't know which file to run through the emulator.
anyone have any idea as to how this is done?

well playstation emulators are kinda tricky I am pretty sure because to be able to play any psone game you need to download the playstation "bios" which is uh.. illigal but.... yeah. I cant really explain to well what a bios is I guess its kinda the hardware os that interacts with the regular os and it gets confusing but I think this is what you need. And if you need a good emulator I am pretty sure the epsxe emulator is pretty popular and works well never tried it though. Link

Oh and the emulator should have a run disk or run diskimage thingy in their pull down menu so all you should have to do is select the disc.

As for ps2 I dont know of any emulators out yet but I think as soon as the ps3 comes out there might be a few poping up around the net. Good luck

yea i have one for ps1 that works its called 'ePSXe' and u have to download a bios for it and so do a google search for SCPH1001 and download it and put it in the bios folder and just put the ps1 in cdrom and open emu and click file and run cdrom.
