Stock psp waiting to be brewed to taste?!?

Ok here it is i have a 2.6 version psp completely stock and its doesnt have that motherboard you guys talk about . i was trying to do it on my own but i dont have a clue as too where to start. if anyone doesnt mind to take the the time and explain step by step how to be able to play downloadable games i would greatly appreciate it. if you need any other info on my psp just feel free to ask.

up grade to 2.71 and downgrade.

or upgrade to 3.03 and use the 3.03 downgrader
