hi im kinda nu here, i've jus got a psp and it has 2.81v firmware.im terrified of doin anythin thinkin i mite brick it can some one pls take the time to explain it to me how i can downgrade it safely without brickin it, i ve been in and out of sites tryin to understand all dis but i still cant grasp the knowledge.

Unfortunately, there is no hacks for 2.81. You can, however, play games with the psp's flash player. There is a tutorial in this section for just that thing!

Keep checking psp sites online and sooner or later there will most likely be a downgrader for your psp version (or a higher version that you could upgrade to and use). I've been in your shoes before. I owned a 1.50 and updated to 1.52 before I knew what homebrew even was... sucks, but well worth the wait. Just DON'T upgrade your psp.
