Why am I not surprised.
I am pretty down though I was hoping to try this out,
from the looks of it, it seemed like it had a little promise to it, guess not.

Yea I know what cha mean, I thought it actually looked quite nice but it wasn't that special at all to me. Especially for someone like you it's practicality, or lack there of, would be troubling pretty quick. Want a free OS for your netbook where you an use firefox and social networking programs then jolicloud would be acceptable, anything more advanced would piss you off pretty quick.

If you have :
Ubuntu Desktop Edition

1 GHz x86 processor
1 Gb of system memory (RAM)
15 GB of hard-drive space (although this can be split onto 2 drives, a 5Gb / and a 10Gb /home fairly easily)
Graphics card and monitor capable of 1024 by 768
Either a Cd/Dvd-drive or a Usb socket (or both)
Internet access is helpful

then I would really recommend Ubuntu... plus you guys wanted an "advanced" one, right?
