This is going to be a big work in progress. Excuse the lack of info while I just get some files uploaded and in place. This thread will be continually update. In the beginning I will only be showcasing emulators/applications/utilities/etc that I have personally used or tested.

You'll find the systems listed in order of their product release dates.

To do:
⇨Finish writeup on all emulators
⇨Writeup for utilities
⇨Emulator configs
⇨Supported ROM file types

After some searching, I have read that the best NES emulator is one called Nestopia. The biggest problem plaguing NES emulators is being able to emulate NES games at the proper speed. Some will run them too quickly, but the general consensus seems to be that Nestopia can emulate at accurate speeds. I do not have my NES with me in Australia but I can do a side by side when I return home in July.

Nestopia can be set up with little to no configuration. The only thing I can to configure was my game pad. After that it's pretty much plug and play. Nestopia is a self contained program. It can be unzipped into any directory. When in stalling multiple emulators it might be wise to keep them all in the same directory. ROMs for the emulator can be put anywhere as well as Nestopia will remember the last place you went to load one.

This emulator does not require a BIOS. You can download Nestopia at the mirror I've provided:

For the Master System I've gone with Fusion. It's not that Fusion does Master System better; all Master System emulators seem to do the job. It's that Fusion combines pretty much every system that SEGA has released. It can emulate the following systems:
Sega SG1000, SC3000, SF7000, Master System, Game Gear, Genesis/Megadrive, SVP, Pico, SegaCD/MegaCD and 32X

Setup is simple. Self contained program so can be extracted anywhere.
