Old, yet addicting.

Hellgate London. anyone ever play it? im pretty hooked atm, but servers where shut down a couple years back. but ive heard rumors of a new one, seeing as a new company is bringning it up....

eh, i find it quite addicting. keep in mind, graphics are on the downside, but its worth playing.


the cover is also stupid. makes the game look g*y

So.....I'm going to pass.

I played HG:L a while back. It's pretty fun, but it's basically Diablo2 in 3d. Ya know, demons, elites, spells, etc, etc, etc.

Never got all the way through, but it was entertaining while it lasted.

For me, it looks like something I could "get into", but something I wouldn't like looking from the outside in.

Yeah I get what you mean. I can't tell if I would like it or not, but it looks like a kind of game that I might get into.

Hellgate London was amazing, and it's easily the precursor to Borderlands.

Also, it's Bill Roper (awesome guy I've talked with on a few occasions), so that's bonus points right there. Bill Roper and his team were part of Blizzard during the Warcraft 1, 2, Starcraft, and Diablo 1 and 2 days. Fantastic developer, and you can tell his Blizzard experience shows in Hellgate.

I use to play it, but I still love me my Diablo.

i almost bought it awhile back, because someone told me it was like diablo O_o
