Slick is handling the news request. Regarding all of the talk about whether or not the sites revolve around me or whether I'm the "right person" to talk to about things like this, I really think that you guys have things wrong. People are used to coming to me when there are problems or issues on the forum because I've been around for a long time. Slick is around quite often and can handle things that I can. He was appointed admin for a reason. If something comes up, it's not always necessary to come to me. BKF said that when I wasn't around for around a month, the site started to crash as well. Well, that's technically untrue. Traffic on the site rose during that month from the previous, in fact. It's true that there were many problems when I came back, but it's ok. Slick was made an admin so that the sites don't "revolve around DPM" so-to-speak.

I just wanted to say that. Seems as though you guys don't trust Slick and you should.

That's why I said ask dpm. Not bashing slick or anything, but that's my point. I could understand anything other then asking for a staff position, I mean I didn't say anything about "problems or issues on the forum", so I don't know where anyone got that from. But theres 3 people that can give him news posting privileges, dpm, slick & da. I see DA on every so often, so it might take a while for a request to him to go through, and Slick just said he would have to ask dpm first. So....who else is there to ask? I believe my comment was a valid point, so if anyone wants to argue then PM me.
