help with quake wii online

hey, I needed help with getting online. It IS connecting to survers, but it doesn't let me play (it just has the console up, not letting me actually in the game) and it says that it couldn't find the maps I downloaded from IHOC in the MAPS folder.
Any ideas? I've been wanting to try it for a couple days now.
