Successful downgrade to 3.2U, still cannot load backups.
Firs off, greetings I'm new to this forum. I hate asking for help but I cannot figure this out on my own.
I couldn't find this specific issue, so I apologize if this seems redundant.
Here's what I've done:
I ran the soft-mod Twilight Hack without a hitch and set up the HB channel. All my homebrew stuff works fine. I was running 3.3U when I modded it.
Since then, I've successfully downgraded to 3.2U and installed "Wii Backup Launcher" w/ gamma, and DVDx (not sure if that makes a difference). I followed a couple of guides step-by-step and all went well, however when I run the backup launcher it keeps trying to read/launch (i.e. it goes into a loop). When I load the configuration screen (press and hold 1), set up the restart hook for remove copy flags, and click "Launch Game" it tries once, then returns to the configuration menu. I've searched and searched but I can only find solutions that re-hash what i've already done. I've a buddy who has his wii modded in the same fashion and his works just fine. I have his disc (MadWorld in particular) that we know works on his. Any ideas? Thanks!
