Error loading back-ups (Some of the time)

Forgive me if this is a known issue... I had my 3.3u soft-modded w/ Twilight Hack. Since then about 70% of the back-ups work. The other 30% return with an error (during load) telling me to eject the disc. I read on a website, to format the WII memory to correct the issue but I am worried I will mess up the Homebrew.

Any pointers would surely help... Is it common to come across corrupted back-ups or is there something I can do on my end to correct the issue.

Do you always use the same brand of discs? Which app are you using to load them? Do you have modchip?

Exact same brand of discs... (Memorex). I have tried burning them at the slowest speed... Still I get the same error. Other discs work just fine.

I am not using the mod-chip. I am using the soft-mod (Twilight hack).

This is happening on both NTSC and PAL back-ups. (but mostly PAL)

I am using the WII-Backup loader and forcing NTSC (when needed for PAL games).

Try using Frii to convert those Pal to NTSC and see if that helps. Make sure you use something like BrickBlocker to make sure the updates ar scrubbed.
Although 8 hours of sleep is said to be good for you, to me, you are now behind by 8 hours...
