Homebrew channel not loading apps.

Hi there, an hour ago i was playing mario with the snes9x emulator, and i came back to my pc to upload some more roms to my sd card, but now apps are not working at all... the only application that actually loads is the homebrew browser. I heard that for some people loading stucks at 0 and removing the GC memory card fixes the problem but the problem is that the application loads at 100% and then everything freezes with a black screen (not the error screen with a los of numbers) i have no memory cards or controllers plugged to my console, as i said, i was playing, then i came back and nothing but the homebrew channel loads... btw, apparently this happened after installing the DVD thing which by the way isnt loading any movies at all.

note: i installed FCEultra via the homebrew browser and wont load either, so i dont think this is some sort of file organization problem...

hope you can help me, i want to play :/
-thanks

i deleted the homebrew channel and trying to reinstall it (for some reason my dvd isnt loading...) in hope that this fixes the problem... im still wondering why the homebrew browser loads ok but other applications just refuse to. Im pretty sure that installing the dvdx thing had something to do.

problem solved, yeah, the dvdx was causing the problem somehow, i uninstalled it and everything's working fine, it looks like that it installed without the patchmii (it installed by itself even when i declined...) well whatever
