  Chickey Chick v0.7 was formaly known as 'Chipke Alpha version'.
  The new name is final and so its advised to name the game Chickey Chick.
  It always has been a one man project, meaning it has been made by me 99.9%
  the 0.1% is being honest, because I didn't make the music and the main
  character was designed by TAITO. Although any connection ends there. Since
  all but 1 sprite are drawn by me.

  This version (v0.7sb) has been released for the 'Scenery Beta 2008'.
  Because of this, there has been an extra option included aspecialy for this
  event. You will find a level editor under the options menu. Take note that
  the level editor will not be included in future releases.
  Read further down for more details

  Please note this game runs at 333mhz. This was needed to make it run smoother

// The aim of the game
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  The aim of the game is clearing the screen of enemies. When all enemies are
  killed then you advance to the next level where you will face a new set of
  enemies. Every new level will be more challenging. More difficult creatures
  will emerge and new worlds will be explored.
  
  You can attack the enemies by throwing eggs that you pick up on screen. When
  an enemy is hit it will dissapear and you will be rewarded with fruit. This
  fruit can be collected for extra points.

  Every last level of a world will contain a key. This key will emerge after a
  while, after which you have a short time to reach for it before it dissapears
  again. If you manage to take the key then you will be rewarded with a chest
  of golden coins at the end of the level.

  After every level that you clear, all remaining eggs will turn to gold. Yet
  again these are for you to collect to gain points

  To your defence you can jump ontop of enemies, this will stun them for a
  moment and you can run away to safer grounds or plan an attack on the stunned
  enemy.

  An extra life will be rewarded at 12,000 and 24,000 points

    100   Collect fruit
    150   Collect a Coin

  As an extra for the 'Scenery Beta 2008' event I have included a level editor.
  You are welcome to use this editor but take note of the following facts:

  - You will be editing the original levels! so keep backups.

  - Looking through the levels with the editor may spoil your gameplay.

  - Please do not share any edited copies of the game without making clear it
    is an edit

  To get yourself started you should start the level editor. Once started press
  the start button and select "HELP". There you can read all you need to know
  for making your own levels.

  Q.Why did you change the name?
  ------------------------------
  A.It was never my intention to release the game under the name Chipke.
    Chipke is actualy flemish(Dutch from Belgium) dialect for Chickey.
    People at QJ saw that name on the ICON of the alpha release and thought
    that Chipke was the intended name for the project. The truth is there I
    Only named it chipke so I would know what project I was working on.
    Kind of like Longhorn and Vista.


  Q.Why did you make this game in LUA?
  ------------------------------------
  A.Two reasons actually;
    1) I thought people needed to know that LUA is able of running a decent game
    2) I don't know how to program C. It's one of the many things I have been
       planning to learn for ages. But I just don't seem to make the time for it

  
  Q.What Happened to v0.1 - v0.6?
  -------------------------------
  A.They never really existed. Chickey Chick is a work in progress
    The first release was a Alpha version because it wasn't a real game...
    No, Really! it was just the start of my engine with a few extras.
    but nothing sollid.

    This release has been called v0.7 because I didn't want people to think that
    it wasn't playable. Many coders call there game v1.0 when the gameplay isn't
    even there. I wanted to go against that. But from now on you may expect the
    next release to be v0.8. Unless the next release will finish the game.
    in that case I'll cale it v1.0

    oh.. and the sb stands for 'Scene Beta' ofcourse!


  Q.Will there ever be a Chipke v1.0?
  -----------------------------------
  A.Who knows?... but I asure you that this beta will give you bussy for a few
    days. It would be easy for me to ad more levels without changing anything
    to the program itself. And to be honest, I still got so many idea's!...
    but then again... I don't have that much time to spend at it. I have a life
    away from the PSP aswell ;)
    
    But I'm pretty sure there will come a next version. I just don't know how
    much will change, and where it will lead. Adding to that I could do some
    optimizations. So little time... so much to do


  Q.But isn't this game complete as it is?

  A.Well at one time I had a goal... if that goal would have been called v1.0
    then I guess I reached v1.0. And so... yeah the game would be complete.
    But! ... I have puched my goal while working on it :P so its not complete

  Q.Will there be Bosses in the finished game?
  --------------------------------------------
  A.My son asked me that millions of times. And I must say I have already made
    graphics for bosses. yet, I havn't felt like putting them in. You should
    know how much I have made in the past that I removed afterwards >.<
    Basicly... I live by the moment! When at one time I feel like adding bosses
    and it doesn't ruin the game then they will be included.
    But for now... no bosses intended


  Q.Why will you remove the level editor in future games?
  -------------------------------------------------------
  A.I'm sorry, I have my reasons... a bit too complicated to explain here
    Lets just say that I'm afraid of what might happen if I did.


  Q.HEY! What happened to the debug menu in the Alpha release?
  ------------------------------------------------------------
  A.HEY! You didn't think I would let everyone cheat there way through the game
    do you?
    Play it like it should, its more fun and rewarding.


  Q.Why no save game?
  -------------------
  A.A save game would be possible, but that would make cheating possible.
    Once you got through a level you would save and load it again when you mose
    a life. Everyone could finish a game that way!

    its just not that kind of game... did you see a save game on old coin-ups ?

  Q.Did you know that the bird from 'New Zealand Story' is actualy a kiwi?

  A.Yeah I did, but did the people at Taito know what a kiwi looks like?
    I doubt it ^_^' ... well they probably did, but still... that bird doesn't
    look like a kiwi, check it out on the internet if you don't believe me.
    For me the bird is still a little chick :D


  Q.Why are there so many spelling errors in this file?

  A.1) I'm too lazy to remove them at the moment
    2) My mother-language is dutch, not english
    3) I'm pretty tired.. its 1am
