Description:
Well, the good news just keeps on flowing in. After the first playable N64 Emulator, we now have our very own homebrew Location Free Player! Yes, you don't have to buy an expensive 0 Location Free Base Player to watch TV on your PSP. This homebrew program does it for free!
Written by , this program can receive wi-fi signals from DScaler, using a TV Capture/Tuner on your PC. Yep, all of it is free, apart from the TV Capture card of-course!
Here's an excerpt from the readme:
"How did I come up with TVSP? Hmmm, it was one day in my bathroom to take a load off :-)
When all of a sudden, omg, I have forgotten to bring anything in to entertain myself. Not a
Maxim magazine in sight. Delerium sets in. What have I done??? While being quite bored,
I had an epiphany. Hey, wouldn't it be cool if I can watch TV in the can. The rest is
history."
Features:
* Watch TV anywhere with a wifi connection.
* Allows channel changes.
* No sound yet. It'll be added in the next version
Please check the readme for operating instructions. The server's port is 8888 if anyone needed to configure their routers for serving TV over the internet.
