Description:
Let us begin with a refresher course on Odyssey for a better understanding of what this emulator is all about. The Magnavox Odyssey is the first home video game console, predating the Atari Pong home consoles by three years. To show how ancient it is to play the games, the user had to place special plastic overlays on the screen that had all the background graphics of the games, because the system could not display them. It uses two joystick controllers to control characters.

I had a little bit of a hard time trying to figure out how everything worked at first. I think this is because of the fact that I haven't used an Odyssey before. Good thing there's a controller guide along with the application. Personally, I think the right trigger could still be utilized to make the controls much easier to handle.

The game that's included is called Acrobat. Basically, you'd have to jump from the platform to the see-saw to catapult your partner toward the balls situated on top of the screen. Aside from the controls being a little bit tricky, just estimating your landing is quite a task. Trial and error proved to be the best solution.

According to Consolius' Read Me File: "Executing this emulator several times results in no sound anymore until a cold reboot of the PSP. It has been tested on a 2.5 firmware, executed through the eLoader."
If your craving for some old school gaming, then this emulator is definitely for you.
