Description:
Here's another update to the long-running DOS emulation PlayStation Portable project from homebrew developer CrazyC. In case you are totally not aware about this one, the name of the program is Dosbox and is currently on version 0.7.1. It allows PSP owners to run various DOS programs on their handhelds.
This update, take note, is not a full release. It seems that the developer prefers to release different patches and binaries everytime a new improvement has come up for Dosbox. This is what CrazyC had to say, "I've put up a new binary that hopefully gets rid of some of the pops and clicks in the audio although it will still skip if the emulator runs to slow. No patch yet, I want to finish some other things first".
According to those who have already tried the program, it is possible to rename the binary to EBOOT.PBP if you run into any problems while accessing it. Be sure that you know exactly what you are doing before instaling this on your PSPs to avoid any problems.
